A Place to Call Home

The City of Loretto administers city, state and federal elections for its residents on even years. The odd year school district elections are administered by each school district. The City is available to answer your questions about polling places, voter registration, absentee voting, and other election information.

Loretto residents vote at City Hall, located at 279 North Medina Street, in the Council Chambers.  If you voted in the last election and haven't moved or changed your name, you should be pre-registered to vote in the 2016 elections.

The best source of election information for voters is found on the Minnesota Secretary of State's website.  Here you will find information about how to REGISTER TO VOTE, FINDING YOUR POLLING PLACE or CAUCUS LOCATION, ELECTION DATES, and ABSENTEE VOTING.  There is a wealth of information and it is a very user-friendly website.
