Where is Loretto Located?
The City of Loretto, Minnesota is located in western Hennepin County, about 25 miles from Minneapolis and ½ mile south of the intersection of State Highway 55 and CSAH 19. Loretto has a population of about 674, with 273 households. Loretto is one-quarter square mile in size.
Where is the City Hall?
Loretto City Hall is located at 279 North Medina St., Suite 260, P.O. Box 207, in the Loretto Office Park. (763) 479-4305; Fax (763) 479-2685.
The entrance to City Hall can be accessed at the rear of the Loretto Office Park building, using the door closest to Crestview Lane.
Area Schools
Loretto is in Delano School District #879. Delano is about seven miles west of Loretto.
Parks
The City of Loretto owns four parks. The Loretto Ballfields includes a baseball field, three softball fields, concessions, restrooms, and playground. The Loretto Lions Park offers a playground and a Community Building available for rentals year-round. There are also playground parks located in the Ponds neighborhood on Pond View Drive and in the Highlands neighborhood off of Summit Avenue and Edgewood Drive. Loretto is located near two Three Rivers Park District Regional Parks: Baker Park and Lake Rebecca Park. These parks offer swimming, camping, picnicking, biking/hiking trails, playgrounds, and more. For more information, visit the parks' website at: http://www.threeriversparkdistrict.org.
